Life is filled with challenges, both visible and hidden, that can impede our growth and fulfillment in life. Whether internal or external, anchored in the past, present or future, these challenges can burden us with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, self-doubt, dread and distress. Yet however they show up, whatever their origins, I believe life’s challenges are meant to shape us, not define us.

Central to my approach is the knowledge that healing and growth are most effectively done relationally, with trust and collaboration bringing about our most profound transformations. From this foundation, we can work toward uncovering the origins of inner unrest and embark on a process of understanding, integrating, and ultimately transcending our challenges.

Working together using proven, evidence-based techniques, we can address a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. My goal is not only to help you navigate these issues but also to fortify your innate strengths, resilience, and self-insight, transforming challenges into catalysts for lasting growth. Ultimately, I believe therapy is about more than just managing problems: it’s about charting the course toward a more empowered, authentic, and joyful life.

Being human means experiencing the ups and downs of life, and everything in between. Inevitably, we will go through difficult times that can negatively impact our wellbeing. This can cause us to turn inward, afraid of burdening others with our struggles. However, we are hard-wired for connection, and therapy is a transformative tool to facilitate this connection and uncover a more compassionate understanding of Self. I offer a humanistic, strength-based counselling approach designed to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll take a holistic view of your life and your individual needs. I work with people of all backgrounds seeking a gentler path in life. Perhaps you struggle with feelings of disconnection, sorrow, or self-doubt. Perhaps you are no longer sure of who you really are, or are feeling stuck in turmoil and out of alignment with your core values. Perhaps you have found your sense of safety rattled by events beyond your control, or have seen the real you lost amongst anxieties.

We may struggle to align our actions and reactions with our values. At times, we feel disconnected from ourselves and others. Sometimes our troubles are situational: life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, traumatic events, and other challenging situations knock us off kilter. Whatever’s burdening you, I’m here to help you feel less alone and more empowered to navigate life’s inevitable turbulence.
